Buiatrics is the study of cattle and their diseases. The World Buiatrics Congress is recognised as the “Olympic Games of Conferences” for people who study cattle.
This congress is the official gathering of the World Association of Buiatrics, of which the Australian Cattle Veterinarians is a member organisation. Held in different locations around the world every two years since its inception in 1960, the congress attracts an average attendance of 1500-2500 delegates.
