Breedcow and Dynama software redevelopment

The Breedcow and Dynama software redevelopment project produced and updated source code, software, a user manual and rolled out a series of demonstration/workshops for experienced users that will benefit beef agribusiness through improved decision making.

Breedcow and Dynama is widely used in the northern Australian beef industry and its continued use depends on it being compatible with new computer platforms. The new version can run on 64 bit ‘premium’ versions of Windows Vista or Windows 7/10 whereas previously versions could not.

Being stand-alone, it can import and export Excel spreadsheets, providing Excel functionality without the need for Excel. This will make integrating new models and other upgrades easier and the package will look like other Windows applications.
