The largest area of Queensland ever drought declared

Seventy-nine per cent of Queensland has now been declared drought stricken. There are a total of 38 local government areas drought declared plus four shires with partial declarations. There are also 38 Individually Droughted Properties (IDPs). This is largest area of Queensland that has been drought declared at one time.
