The Grazing BMP accelerated program is designed for busy graziers.
This workshop is open to businesses new to the Grazing BMP program and businesses wanting to complete a reassessment. Information about the Grazing BMP certification process will also be provided. This is your opportunity to complete ALL five Grazing BMP modules in a manageable block of time.
Mick Sullivan, DAF Rockhampton and Byrony Daniels, DAF Emerald will explain the important aspects of herd management including genetics and nutrition. Jo Gangemi, DAF Charters Towers will discuss business management, the latest on animal health and welfare legislation, and your occupational health and safety obligations. And Bob Shepherd, DAF Charters Towers will focus on local soils, conduct a practical soil demonstration and discuss the importance of land condition and grazing management.
