The Queensland Government has committed to review the drought programs in Queensland. An independent two member Expert Panel (Ms Ruth Wade and Mr Charles Burke) has been appointed to conduct this Review to look at what can be done during, and to prepare for future droughts in Queensland. The Panel will be undertaking six regional forums during September/October.
The Panel has called for submissions to address the Drought Program Review Terms of Reference. The Panel has also developed some questions which can guide individuals submissions or if your organisation would like to submit directly to the panel, please email the DroughtProgramReview@qld.gov.au.
Submissions will close on Friday 19 October 2018.
