To celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries invites you to join a selection of Queensland’s inspiring women in agriculture to share their achievements and stories at “Celebrating women in agriculture”.
Guest speakers include:
- Beth Woods, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Queensland
- Brigid Price, creator of Rural Resources Online
- Melinee Leather, central Queensland beef producer and passionate advocate for women in the beef industry
- Jessica Fealy, accountant and owner of Back Paddock Business
- Meg Kummerow, executive officer for the Grains Research Foundation
- Georgie Summerset, General President of AgForce and passionate advocate for rural and regional communities
- Katrina Hobbs, Managing Director of Eden Farms, Country Heritage Trust, Inglewood Poultry Farms and Country Heritage Feeds.
