Productive and persistent legume pastures

The Queensland-Murray Darling Committee and Murilla Landcare invite you to a workshop on best management practice for legumes in pasture.

Learn about the latest legume research for sown pastures:

  • Reliable techniques to successfully establish legumes into existing sown pastures.
  • How to select the right legume for your situation.
  • Tips for managing legume-grass pastures for long term productivity.
  • Develop a legume establishment action plan.

DAF’s team of highly experienced sown pasture agronomists have been undertaking research to assist graziers to increase animal production through reliable legume establishment into sown pastures.

There will be opportunity for producers to be involved in on-farm legume establishment demonstrations after the workshop. Participating producers will receive technical support for a new sowing. Expressions of interest will be taken at the workshops.

Cost: FREE – smoko and lunch supplied

Limited space – essential to RSVP Monday 5 March
