Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training will teach you practical skills to support someone with a mental health problem. Make a real difference to people in your community. \nAttending Mental health first aid will: \n\nimprove your knowledge of mental illness\, treatments and first aid actions\nincrease your confidence of providing first aid\ndecrease stigmatising attitudes\nincrease the level of support provided to others.\n\nLearn practical first aid skills: \n\nrecognise common mental health problems\nprovide initial help using a practical\, evidence-based Action Plan\nseek appropriate professional help\nrespond in a crisis situation.\n\nPlease note: This is a 12-hour educational course\, not a therapy or support group. \nSign up\nRSVP by 9 March 2026 to Kelli Aston on 0407 739 330. \nFree light morning tea and lunch NOT provided.
