DESCRIPTION:Visiting two properties in the Richmond shire (Yan Yean and Rose Downs)\, this event will discuss the establishment\, management\, successes and challenges that come with trialling pasture legumes in north Queensland. \nHear from UNE on their tropical legume trial at Yan Yean\, DAF’s sown pasture trial at Rose Downs and Southern Gulf NRM’s work on bare ground restoration and using drones to map tussock density. \nThere will be transport provided to shuttle attendees between properties\, meeting at the Koronosaurus Korner at 8.15am for an 8.30am departure. You can indicate if you would like transportation during checkout. Lunch and catering will be provided. Transport will rerturn to the Koronosaurus Korner at 3pm. \nDon’t forget to register to ensure your space on the bus!
