SUMMARY:Farm Business Resilience Program field walk - Tansey
DESCRIPTION:Join the DPI Grains Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP)\, Burnett Catchment Care Association (BCCA) and Dane and Rachael from Lehmann Cattle Company as they host this multispecies and alternative fertiliser field walk. \nThe field walk will look at the custom multispecies blend at varies stages of growth and regrowth after grazing. It has also had manure and liquid NPK fertiliser applied\, and soil tests done prior to planting. \nAndrew from Nedloh Rural and Terry from Select Seeds will also be present to talk about options and the trial in an informal paddock discussion. \nWe will also have opportunity to discuss opportunities going forward with the FBRP program and results of the previous trial on site which looked at comparing millet and multispecies with urea. \nDetails\nWhen: Tuesday 4 August \nWhere: 134 Ahern Rd Tansey\, QLD 4601 \nCost: Free.
