Profitable HGP Strategies and Marketing Options
The field day will focus on effective use of Hormone Growth Promotants (HGPs) and alternative cattle marketing strategies.
The day will offer pastoralists an opportunity to learn about recent HGP research results from a two year trial led by Trisha Cowley, Pastoral Production Officer, Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries (DPIF), into cost effective HGP strategies. The day will also provide networking opportunities, a station tour and access to industry experts.
Key speakers include Steve Petty, Northern Development Company, Trisha Cowley, Pastoral Production Officer, Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries (DPIF), Dr Leigh Davidson, Elanco Animal Health and Brendan Crouch, Senior Territory Manager, Elanco Animal Health. Local producers will also share their experiences about using HGPs.
Smoko, BBQ and refreshments are provided.
