Demonstrations of heifer pelvic measurements, ovarian scanning. Discussion on nutrition, managing yearling mating, Beef CRC (Cooperative Research Council) findings on age of puberty, post partum re-conception and the link between bull traits and female fertility will also be discussed.
Fertility is a big driver of profitability and basically the day is about setting heifers up so they can contribute to the business now and keep contributing by producing a calf every year.
