DESCRIPTION:Visit Fiona and Allan’s farm and Land for Wildlife property at Limestone Ridges.\n\n\n\nBoonah and District Landcare looks forward to seeing you at the first Yarn on a Farm event for 2026.\n\n\n\n\nNew or looking to renew? \nTo welcome people new to the region\, especially those who have bought a property to manage with stock\, and those looking to refresh their management goals\, we’re starting 2026 with renewed focus with a special Yarn on a ‘We bought a Farm!’. \nCome and share the learnings made by Fiona and Allan\, who purchased their place in 2018 and started managing it regeneratively after the break of the 2019 drought. \nOur special guest speakers are Katie and Andrew Zerner from Knowledge to Practice. Katie and Andrew are experienced regenerative land managers and educators who will be introducing their workshop and consulting services to help people connect the dots between goals\, landscape and livestock. \nYarn on a Farm events are an initiative by Boonah and District Landcare to connect and share collective wisdom towards stewardship of the land we manage. Come along\, ask questions and meet others in the area who can help you on your farming journey. \n\n\n\n\nKey event details\n\nThis is an on-farm event.\nWear clean shoes – please don’t bring your farm to their farm.\nFollow the signs and park where directed.\nThe exact location will be emailed to guests a couple of days before the event.\nFree event but bookings required.\nBYO own chair.\nBYO water bottle and stay hydrated.\nPlease wear suitable clothing\, footwear and insect repellent.\nBe sun safe – slip\, slop\, slap.\nTea/coffee provided but we’d love you to bring a plate of afternoon tea to share.
