‘Meating’ expectation and thriving
The WA Meat Profit Day Committee and Meat & Livestock Australia are excited to be hosting the 2014 Meat Profit Day themed ‘Meating’ expectation and thriving.
The global appetite for beef and sheepmeat is escalating rapidly and no more so than in Asia and the Middle East. The Pilbara, Gascoyne, Murchison and Northern Agricultural regions are ideally positioned both geographically and environmentally to service their demand for sustainably produced red meat through the live trade and boxed markets.
The local committee of producers are putting together an exciting day, with both locally and internationally renowned guests, aimed at stimulating and challenging producers to achieve greater levels of productivity through showcasing cutting edge technology in livestock production systems and practices that can have an immediate impact on producers’ businesses.
