Charlotte has more than 10 years’ experience working in the agricultural industry. She grew up on a southern NSW beef, sheep and cropping enterprise and followed the well-beaten path for a gap year on a cattle station in the NT’s Top End. After starting her professional career in agricultural communications, she headed to the Kimberley region to work in livestock biosecurity. She completed a Masters of Animal Science focussing on methods which increase northern beef production and profitability whilst improving industry sustainability. Charlotte leads WA’s contribution to FutureBeef and is increasing adoption of WA’s pastoral remote sensing (PRS) system. She is also Secretary of the Pilbara Regional Beef Research Committee.
