AgForce Projects and professional trappers will provide information, advice and practical demonstrations on the following:
- Practical wild dog trapping techniques
- Where and how to place foothold traps
- How to identify wild dog activity and signs to improve your trapping
- Improved baiting techniques e.g. placement, timing and coordination, for better outcomes
- Working together as a group for maximum effect
There are lucky door prizes to be won, including traps and other feral animal control tools.
The Barcoo, Boulia, Winton and Quilpie Shire Wild Dog Committees and Councils will be on hand to help coordinate and book in your baiting programs.
Registrations are essential. Please RSVP 12 June 2015. Lunch will be provided.
