DCQ and Cibo Labs are heading to La Trobe Station, just south of Longreach, on Saturday 19 September for a practical producer event focused on pasture, grazing and land management.
The day will combine presentations in the shed with an interactive paddock walk, exploring:
- Australian Feedbase Monitor (AFM) & PastureKey – tools to monitor your feedbase
- TSDM information – for forage budgeting, stocking decisions and understanding seasonal feed supply
- Ground cover & woody vegetation – automated reporting and monitoring
- Deforestation-free reporting – exploring EU market requirements and Accountability Framework initiative (AFi) standards
- Local landscape projects – an update from DCQ
There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, see the tools in action and discuss how the information can be applied on-property.
