Mick Sullivan and Cindy McNaught (DAF Beef extension officers) will discuss nutritional requirements in wet and dry seasons and how best to understand supplement ingredients to benefit your herd. They will also cover the cattle tick life cycle, chemical resistance and testing. Plus, tick fever vaccination and herd management strategies.
Megan Gurnett (DAF Beef extension officer) will discuss the Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP) and give an overview of the GRASS program and benefits to producers including financial incentives. Sam Groom (BMRG) will outline project eligibility and the application process.
Mike Guerin (CEO AgForce) will discuss the long term growth, viability, competitiveness and profitability of our cattle industry, AgCarE and new industry updates.
