This very handy book includes visual guides to assess land condition, pasture yield, utilisation and quality in Mitchell grass pastures.

This guide was originally put together by the Northern Territory Government through the Barkly Landcare & Conservation Association and published in 2005, funded by the Natural Heritage Trust and the Australian Government Envirofund program. The 2024 re-print and digitisation of the guide has been funded by the Future Drought Fund through the Rain Ready Rangelands Project.
