There is increased capacity in the NT extension team, and the trio have their sights set on some new goals!
Please join us in welcoming Georgia Anderson, our new Livestock Industries Extension Officer based at the Arid Zone Research Institute in Alice Springs! Georgia has a double degree in Agribusiness and Agricultural Science (majoring in Animal Science) and has a lot of experience in the northern beef supply chain from her background growing up in the NT.
With this new addition to the team, there are now three Livestock Extension Officers across the Territory, and this small but mighty team are working with researchers to deliver extension services to industry and provide updates on research projects.
Some of the new Livestock Industries projects are two weaner management case studies, a legume establishment project, the Buffalo Welfare Project, and more! Keep an eye out, as these project pages will be live on FutureBeef soon.
