Exclusion fencing tips from producers

The trip will take you to different types of exclusion fences, creek crossings (that have recently experienced water flow) and you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the producers who built them. As well as see a machine that helped build a fence.

Leaves Longreach 8.00am sharp and will be returning by 4.00pm.

Cost: $30 per person, smokos and cold water provided – please bring your own lunch and a thermos of hot water.

Visits include:

• ‘Weewondilla’, Longreach
• ‘Leander’, Longreach

On this trip the producers who constructed these fences will talk about:

• fence type and specifications
• construction tips
• benefits and costs
• results
• problems
• lessons they have learnt.

Seats are limited. ‘First in best dressed’, however producers will get first preference for bus seats. You must register and pay online.
