This Giant Rat’s Tail (GRT) grass information day will include speakers from Gympie Regional Council, Integrated Vegetation Management Group (IVM), local graziers and Biosecurity Queensland covering issues such as:

  • Council services and projects
  • Long term management options
  • Research into biological control (including crown rot)
  • New research
  • Identification of GRT and similar grasses
  • Spray techniques/control options.

This is a FREE information day. Morning tea and BBQ lunch provided.

Places are limited, so prior registration is compulsory for attendance. Registration via 1300 307 800 or www.gympie.qld.gov.au.

Please wear appropriate footwear, clothing and a hat for the field session.
