Herd budgeting workshop
Is there a more profitable way to run your herd? Do you want a better idea of where your herd is going?
Join us for a free Breedcow Dynama herd budgeting workshop. This workshop will help you to:
- Prepare livestock schedules
- Calculate key herd performance indicators
- Prepare herds and cash flow projections
- Assess livestock trading opportunities
- Evaluate market options e.g. bullocks v feeder steers
- Analyse breeder herd structure and culling strategies.
The Breedcow Dynama software package is a decision support tool developed to help producers identify the most profitable way to manage their beef herd. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to build a model of their own herd and test some scenarios for change.
The workshop will be presented by DAF economist Fred Chudleigh with help from Mick Sullivan, Tim Moravek and Byrony Daniels.
