Our industry – our standards
The Grazing Best Management Practices program is a voluntary, industry led process assisting graziers to identify improved practices which can help improve the long term profitability and sustainability of their enterprise. See how Grazing BMP helps identify the steps you need to take to incorporate best management practices into your enterprise. In time, Grazing BMP will also allow the grazing industry to demonstrate sound ethical and environmental management to the wider community.
While this presentation focuses on the Queensland Grazing BMP pilot program, it will still be relevant to other parts of Australia as the Grazing BMP system is designed on grazing principles and thus addresses grazing principles and practices rather than regionally specific production approaches.
Guest presenters
Join Peter Long, Project Coordinator (Fitzroy Basin Association), Jo Gangemi, Grazing BMP Industry Facilitator (DAFQ), and Michael Taylor, Industry Coordinator (AgForce Qld) along with hosts Jon Condon (Beef Central) and Greg Bath (FutureBeef).
