• Sheep trading verses breeding
• Analyse a trading budget on an actual sheep trade, break down the real costs and examine how to make it successful
• Understanding our end user markets
• Examine kill grid specifications, how do we hit the grid , what are the hidden discounts (e.g. fat penalties and the cost of non-compliance)
• The importance of weighing your livestock, having efficient scales
• When can a producer capture premiums
• Skin values, how do we know as producers what they are worth
• The importance of understanding feed quality at any given time of any year. This is what drives nearly all of my decisions week by week (selling, fattening, joining, purchasing)

This presentation will be followed by drinks and dinner.
