Key findings from the CashCow project
- How can you accurately measure how your breeders are performing?
- Why do some mobs perform well while others don’t?
- Why do some females readily become pregnant after calving and wean a calf while others take much longer, or fail to wean a calf?
CashCow was a three-year research project investigating the fertility of ~78, 000 breeders from 75 commercial beef enterprises across northern Australia.
