The workshop and networking opportunity will include 25 to 30 participants hosted at the renowned Longreach Campus of the AACC (formerly the Longreach Pastoral College), it will involve 2 days of intense focus on Agribusiness modelling. Delivered by specialist lecturers from the well regarded Marcus Oldham College the course will cover a case study presented by Brendan Smart 1990 Nuffield Scholar, profiling the Smart Group, a Family Agribusiness House from Keith in South Australia. Your involvement will be greatly appreciated and recognised. The focus will be to address strategy options for agribusiness in the pastoral areas of Western Queensland for participants to further develop their business from a renowned provider with a fresh offering.
The workshop will culminate in an industry gala dinner at Longreach Motor Inns Harrys Restaurant which will include course participants, agribusinesses, local business houses and welcomed sponsors. Funds raised will contribute to the quality of the course offering and future programmes. The intention is to aid stakeholders build the rate of return from agriculture in western Queensland and network with key supporters in their industry to collaboratively lift the profile and earnings, this course has the ability to achieve this.
