Central Burnett Landcare invites you to a wild dog trapping day with Darren Pointon and Mark Bell
Darren and Mark are professional dog trappers with many years of experience around the Burnett area. Wild dogs cost the grazing industry millions of dollars each year in Australia. They also do great damage to native animal populations. Learn their habits and how to catch and dispose of wild dogs.
Itinerary
10.00am Start – meet at RSL Hall, Bauer Street, Mundubbera. Darren will speak about the habits of wild dogs and the best ways to attract and catch them.
12.00pm Lunch – we will be providing lunch free of charge
1.00pm Field demonstration – Darren and Mark will demonstrate different ways to lay out lures and set traps to catch the maximum number of dogs.
3.00pm Finish
Cost: $10 per person or farming enterprise.
Places are limited – bookings essential.
