Healthy soils workshop

This workshop is funded by NQ Dry Tropics and is based on the highly regarded RCS Grazing for Profit School and is focussed on understanding the strong link between livestock management, improvement in the health of the land, and the profitability of the business.

The workshop covers:

• Understanding how, as land managers, we influence and can control these linkages and improve key targets such as ground cover, water quality, land health and business performance
• Understanding key grazing principles and management systems to achieve a healthy ecosystem and, consequently, higher production levels from our livestock
• Discussing cutting edge topics in agriculture and agribusiness
• Increasing ground cover to reduce erosion via proven sustainable farming practices
• Practical tools and tips to take home and implement.

The cost is $50 per person.
