Breeder performance in the north – CashCow project (8:30am-12:00pm)
The CashCow project monitored ~78,000 females across northern Australia. Speakers Geoffry Fordyce QAFFI, David Smith and Tim Moravek DAF will discuss key research outcomes:
- What are achievable levels of performance in a breeder herd?
- Key production measures for northern herds
- Simple steps to analyse your business
Grazing BMP module completion (12:00pm-4:30pm)
- Develop plans for improved practices within your whole business
- Assess your management practices against recommended industry standards
- Provide valuable regional data to support your industry
