Grazing fundamentals EDGE is a one-day workshop designed to give you a broad understanding of the components of the grazing production system and the core scientifically-backed principles behind optimising grazing land productivity.
This workshop is delivered by Dionne Walsh and Jodie Ward from the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry and Resources.
Attending this workshop will help you to:
- better understand the connection between land condition, pasture growth and animal production
- understand how climate influences pasture growth
- allow for climate variability when planning livestock management
- build a seasonal climate profile for your location.
Cost (inclusive of GST): Normally $825 per person, you will pay $200 per person (and then $150 per person for subsequent attendees from the same business), thanks to subsidy from Territory Natural Resource Management. The cost of the workshop includes a comprehensive set of workshop notes, workbook, and lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
Places are limited. To register your interest in attending the workshop, please contact Jodie Ward, DPIR NT on telephone 08 8973 9730 or email jodie.ward@nt.gov.au
