Working with climate
Join us to hear from Dr Chelsea Jarvis from USQ’s Centre for Applied Climate Sciences about seasonal forecasts and utilising the latest climate tools and technology available. This workshop is interactive – attendees should bring their laptops, iPads or tablets so they can log in and start using the tools straight away.
Key learnings will include:
- The latest developments in seasonal climate forecasting and how they apply to your region
- Key climate drivers for northern Australia
- Find, use and assess relevant climate tools such as seasonal forecasts
- Emerging weed threats and where to look for them in the landscape
When: Tuesday 10 March 2020 from 6pm – 8pm
Where: Charleville RSL Club (Hot nibbles provided)
Bring: Laptop, iPad/tablet for the interactive session using tools
