Presentation by Désirée Jackson and Laura Broughton, with opportunity for audience discussion and questions.

Désirée Jackson (Désirée Jackson Livestock Management) is based out of Longreach in Queensland and has been consulting for 7 years. Prior to consulting, Désirée worked for the Queensland Dept Agriculture for 20 years, while also operating a grazing business. The majority of her work is consulting to clients on animal nutrition and breeder management and developing and delivering training courses and resources

Laura Broughton (Productive Livestock Systems) is based out of Cootamundra NSW and has been consulting for 3 years. Laura worked as a Technical Officer with the Sheep CRC and the University of New England, before establishing her own business, Productive Livestock Systems, in 2018. Laura primarily consults to clients operating mixed farming businesses in southern NSW as well as facilitating extension workshops and managing industry research projects.
