Queensland drought duration reportThe Drought Duration report is a new report available on the Long Paddock website. It shows the current drought situation and summarises the historical drought duration information in Queensland.

This five-page Drought duration report includes:

  • the Queensland Drought Situation map, current at the date of request – showing the situation at last date of review by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries
  • a state-wide “Months drought declared” map, current at the date of request
  • a state-wide “Months without drought” map, current at the date of request
  • a state-wide “Percentage time drought declared since 1964”, current at the date of request
  • a “Percentage area of QLD drought declared in history” time series graph

The current report is available online on the Drought Declaration and FORAGE pages of the Long Paddock website. Periodic subscriptions (1, 2 or 3 months) are also available (free) by email. See here for more information on how to subscribe and unsubscribe.
