First Minutes Matter is a FREE community trauma training program aimed at equipping you with practical skills for time-critical medical situations while professional help is on the way.
In this one-day in-person workshop from LifeFlight’s experienced training team, you’ll learn about the following topics:
- Personal, Road & Aircraft Safety
- Burns
- Bleeding
- Snake Bites
- Airways (Choking & Anaphylaxis)
- Strokes, Seizures & Febrile Convulsions
- CPR & AEDs
- Emergency Equipment
- Wellbeing
The workshop starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm with a lunch break in between (lunch is not provided). We recommend arriving early so you can find a seat and meet your Trainer. If you have any questions, please email firstminutesmatter@lifeflight.org.au.
