I have started with the DPI Roma office as an Extension Officer (Beef) this year (2025). I grew up Southwest of Toowoomba on a small cattle property before heading to university to study a Bachelor of Animal Science at the University of New England (UNE) which included a stint studying at Purdue University in Indiana, USA.
I found my way into ruminant nutrition where I was working with feed companies as a nutritionist for their clients. I am excited to be working in the Grazing Futures programme, still working with producers, however in a slightly different way. I love all aspects of working with producers on everything from management practises, data collection, land management or business management.
When I’m not in working, I can be found either on my partner’s property 150km southwest of Roma, my family property and Shorthorn stud near Toowoomba or slowly completing my Master of Agricultural Business Management degree through Charles Sturt University (Wagga).
