Join Gympie Regional Council to learn effective and lasting control techniques for Parthenium and Giant Rat’s Tail Grass. Featuring guest speaker Nic Zaccardi.
Council is offering free weed management workshops to help local primary producers tackle restricted invasive weeds, with a focus on Giant Rat’s Tail Grass and Parthenium.
These sessions cover various topics to help local primary producers control Giant Rat’s Tail Grass and Parthenium, including improved pasture as a multi-year weed control strategy, pasture agronomy for productive and competitive pastures, and using livestock for effective, long-term weed management.
Featuring guest speaker agronomist, Nic Zaccardi. With expertise in pasture management, cropping, and horticulture, Nic will share valuable knowledge to help you tackle weeds effectively.
Lunch is provided.
