Meat & Livestock Australia and Pinion Advisory are running Livestock Advisor Essentials, a professional development program designed for early career professionals working in the livestock industry, or advisors wishing to build their skills and expand their industry knowledge and networks.

Livestock Advisor Essentials is a professional development program designed for early career professionals working in the northern Australian livestock industry. This is an unbeatable opportunity to:

  • gain practical skills, tools and knowledge that you can apply to your role to enhance your offering to clients
  • build confidence and capability to provide holistic, high quality advice and support to your red meat clients
  • explore new communication approaches to effectively engage with clients and promote your services to potential clients
  • expand your network of industry contacts to share learnings and advice.

The Feedbase decision making workshop will be delivered by Dionne Walsh, RangeIQ. By attending this workshop, participants will:

  • Increase knowledge of best practice, sustainable grazing management principles and property planning.
  • Build confidence in supporting producer clients to make decisions in relation to grazing management.
  • Develop a greater understanding of northern and rangeland feedbase systems, including sustainable feed utilisation, property planning and land management principles, matching feed demand to feed supply, plus more.
