Join us at Boonah to discuss breeding and fertility opportunities for your grazing business
Join Department of Primary Industries’ Tim Emery and local vet, Dr Dave Nolan, for an engaging and practical workshop focused on improving herd fertility and business outcomes. Whether you’re a seasoned producer or just starting out, this workshop offers insights to help you make informed breeding decisions and drive the efficiency and profitability of your herd going forward.
At the Bull Selection and Fertiltiy information Day, we will discuss:
- The importance of having clear breeding objectives
- Bull Breeding Soundness Evaluation (BBSE)/BULLCHECK
- Reproductive disease management
- Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) – making effective use of them
- Understanding what valuable information can be accessed online
- An insight into various genetics focused research projects
