CQ Connects presents, Healthy herds, healthy land, innovative parasite management — an on-farm workshop at Theodore.
Topics that will be discussed include:
- Kandanga Farm Store
- background to the chemical parasite management approach – why should we change?
- integrated pest management for parasites in cattle (chemical free)
- introduction to non-chemical products on the market, including developments in homeopathic products and biocontrol agents
- grazing and other management strategies to reduce parasite load.
