Graziers experiences in managing mulga country

This book describes how experienced graziers manage for profitability and sustainability. Critical issues include their choice of livestock, stocking rates, grazing and husbandry practices, improvement of native pastures, domestication of feral goats, and control of kangaroos. This is supplemented by knowledge arising from scientific research. While there is no single ‘right way’ of managing grazing in the mulga lands, the key is know and continually read the country, adapt management practices to suit ever-changing conditions, and share the experiences of others.
