AgForce SEQ invites you to the Veg, fire and mapping workshop.

The workshops are designed to provide a practical guide to vegetation management on your property, fire preparation and fire response across the districts.

Workshop topics

1. Vegetation Management

  • Understanding current vegetation management regulations, including what activities are permitted and the necessary steps for compliance.
  • Guidance on how to navigate the regulatory framework to ensure your business operates efficiently while maintaining environmental stewardship.

2. Fire Prevention, Preparation & Management

  • Strategies for improving fire prevention and preparedness on your property.
  • Updates on recent achievements in fire management, including successful initiatives and ongoing efforts to enhance fire resilience for landholders.
  • Operational changes needed to improve fire management outcomes for producers.

3. Property Vegetation Mapping

  • Bring your property Lot and Plan numbers (latest rates notice) to receive a FREE property vegetation map pack on the day.
  • Learn how to read your property vegetation maps, to support better land use planning.
  • Introduction to the AgForce Mapping services that can assist with decision-making, compliance, and property management.

This workshop is designed to provide practical knowledge, updates on key industry issues, and hands-on experience with tools that support better land management and business operations.
