Angus cattle are supported by industry leading breeding values and genetic support tools.

The ‘Angus in the North’ workshop will provide service providers and consultants working with breeders,
an introduction to the breeding values and services available through Angus Australia.
Assisting them in supporting their clients to maximise genetic gain from the breed.
The event will focus on consultants and service providers supporting users of Angus genetics in Northern Australia
and build upon the work coming out of the Angus Australia Northern Development project.

The presentations will interest extension providers, consultants and anyone interested in
Angus cattle with topics to include:

• Breeding values available for Angus cattle

• Features of Angus

• Managing Angus bulls in Northern production systems

• Finding Angus bulls

• Research and development at Angus Australia
