Risk management planning for your beef business
About this event
Are you prepared for an emergency animal disease outbreak? Concerns around Foot & Mouth (FMD) and Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) means now is a good time to review your planning and put strategies in place.
Hear from your local biosecurity and extension team about what you can do to be prepared, including:
- reviewing your biosecurity plan and keeping your details up to date
- knowing the signs and symptoms of FMD and LSD
- understanding what happens if there is an outbreak.
Biosecurity planning is one component of managing risk for your beef business. Find out what resources and funding is currently available to help implement risk management across your whole business, in a presentation from your local Rural Financial Councillor, Natalie Hughes.
