With Dr Ian Braithwaite, Alison Larard and the DAF Beef-Pasture Team
Dr Ian Braithwaite is a leading cattle production vet with great insight into the dynamics and profitability of northern breeding herds. Ian and his team have been working closely with Bulimba, Haydon and Greenhills to adapt and implement simple breeder management systems.
The workshop will look at:
- business management and marketing tips
- local reproduction data and practical breeder management systems
- practical yard and demonstration tips
- new pasture and hay trials
- electric fencing options to improve grazing and herd management.
