Next generation BeefUp Forum @ Charters Towers – Information and tools for 18-35 year olds with an interest in the beef industry.

The Next Generation BeefUp Forum is being organised by MLA in collaboration with a local organising committee to provide clear, concise and practical information for young people with an interest in the beef industry. Key topics include:

• Opportunities and challenges for the next generation in the beef industry
• An inspirational story highlighting success and challenges of building a beef business
• A look at strategies to increase personal wealth and business performance
• An insight into overcoming the challenges of communication within a multi-generational business
• Communication – Leadership skills
• Power of social media, being involved in your industry
• Selecting the bull to beef up your herd – A hands on presentation and demonstration with bulls
• Value adding beef – the perfect dining experience
• Young steak-holders carving our future BBQ dinner & drinks.

A shuttle bus will operate between the Arthur Titley Centre and the Dalrymple Equestrian Centre to transport delegates at 3.30 pm and after the dinner.

Date: Friday 18^th October

Time: 9.30am to 9.00pm

Venue: Arthur Titley Centre, Mosman Street and Dalrymple Equestrian Centre, Flinders Highway – Charters Towers

Cost: Entry to the forum and dinner costs $30 per person, $20 forum only, or $10 dinner only.
