Feeding your livestock in times of drought can be tough and there are often difficult decisions to make.
This free forum will provide best–practice advice about feeding livestock in a drought and making decisions about the future of your livestock. It will also talk about how you can access available support.
Join us for a barbecue at 5 pm, before our presentation begins at 6 pm. Topics include:
- Duty of care for livestock owners
- Feeding cattle—nutritional requirements
- Feeding horses, goats and sheep
- Euthanising livestock
- Subsidies available for primary producers
- Support services and assistance programs.
The event will conclude at 8.15 pm, with presenters available to answer questions until 9 pm.
