This one-day workshop is for landholders wanting to reduce erosion and build practical skills. It will explain how to protect soils when planning, constructing and maintaining property infrastructure.
The workshop presenters are:
- John Day from Burnett Mary Regional Group. John brings industry best-practice ‘know-how’ on everything from contour bank construction to maximising water filtration. He is formerly a Soil Conservation Advisor to DPI and DNRM, John will focus on establishing sustainable production systems with practical strategies for your property.
- Darryl Hill is highly regarded around Australia for his practical approach and expertise using graders and other machinery to achieve soil conservation outcomes. With over 40 years study and on ground experience, Darryl’s teachings are aimed at achieving safe, effective and low-maintenance construction.
