Horse nutrition, feeding management and parasite control
What’s it all about?
Session one: 8.30am-11.30am: Explore how best to match pasture and feed options to your horses’ needs and discuss solutions to nutritional problems while balancing feed costs.
Session two: 11.30am-12.30pm: A local veterinarian will discuss how good pasture can help to control parasites and toxic weeds. Biosecurity Queensland will provide an update on Hendra virus, moving your horse, and health and disease management for horse owners.
Who should attend?
As horse owners and horse property owners alike, you will be provided with advice on simple ways to manage your horses’ nutrition for happy horses and healthy land.
