The Gympie District Beef Liaison Group invites you to a climate variability and seasonal outlook workshop at Theebine Hall on 25 February starting at 8 am.

Join Damien O’Sullivan (Senior Extension Officer, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries) and Peter Crawford (NACP Climate Mate for the Burnett Mary region) as they discuss:

  • The main drivers affecting climate and weather in this region
  • How to interpret these drivers
  • Accessing and understanding long term climate outlooks
  • What management decisions could be influenced by the seasonal outlook

The workshop will include a hands-on activity where the presenters demonstrate how to find and use a number of climate products, tools and websites.
